Built by landlords. For landlords.
InspectHub started because we needed it ourselves.
The Origin
We run a co-living property in France. Seven tenants, turnover at least once a year — sometimes twice. And we manage it from abroad.
That combination creates a very specific problem: you need to know the exact state of your property at every move-in and move-out, but you can't be there. You're trusting someone else to notice the scratch on the counter, the stain on the carpet, the broken handle nobody mentions.
We tried delegating inspections. The scheduling was a nightmare. The reports were inconsistent. And the one thing we never got was real clarity — a complete, honest picture of how the place actually looked at the moment it mattered.
So we built a tool that lets tenants document everything themselves, on their own phone, at the actual moment of move-in or move-out. Guided, timestamped, thorough.
What We Discovered
The first thing we noticed was the money. Each inspection that used to require coordinating schedules, travel, and a third party now cost nothing. That added up to roughly €100 saved per inspection, per tenant, per move.
But the real discovery was something else entirely.
We started getting complete visibility into our property — not a report days later, not a summary from someone who didn't want to be rude. Actual photos, taken at the actual moment, by the person living there. Issues surfaced immediately. Disputes disappeared. And our tenants told us they preferred it this way — documenting on their own schedule, without someone watching over their shoulder.
Better for us. Better for them. That's when we knew this wasn't just our problem to solve.
Why We're Here
If you're managing properties yourself — whether it's one apartment or fifty units — you've felt this tension. You want to protect your investment, but you also want to be fair. You want documentation, but you don't want confrontation. You want clarity, but you can't be everywhere at once.
That tension is what InspectHub resolves. Not by adding complexity, but by removing the part that was broken: the idea that two people need to stand in a room together and pretend everything's fine.
Where This Is Going
InspectHub is only the beginning. We believe landlords who care about doing things right deserve tools that match — modern, transparent, and built for how people actually live and rent today.
We're expanding across six countries because the awkward inspection problem is universal. And we're building toward a broader set of tools for independent landlords who want a healthy investment, genuine peace of mind, and the confidence that they're treating their tenants well.
One focused feature at a time. No bloat. No feature checklists designed to impress investors.
Our Commitment
InspectHub is sustainable, independent software. No venture capital dictating our roadmap. No ad revenue shaping our incentives. You pay for the product. We build the product for you.
We use InspectHub for our own properties. That's not a marketing line — it's the reason the product exists. Every feature we ship has to work for us before it ships to you.
